Kirsten Wolcott, Southern Adventist Student, Murdered
Kirsten Wolcott, a junior at Southern Adventist University, has been murdered in Yap, Micronesia. Kirsten Wolcott was teaching second grade at Yap Adventist School, went for a run Wednesday morning before classes started and never came back.
A liberal arts education major, Kirsten Wolcott loved working out and music. Wolcott was on the Dean’s list and played the piano
and harp.
Kirsten Wolcott was originally from Richmond, Virginia and was spending time in Micronesia as a student missionary at the Yap SDA school that is mainly run by Southern Adventist students.
The visiting missionaries typically live in apartments on campus and there are about ten students serving this year.
